Turns out the IOC just doesn't appreciate The Windy City like most of us would. Despite tireless pleas from President Barack Obama, Rio De Janeiro was awarded the 2016 Summer Olympics over Chicago. This makes it the first South  American city ever awarded the games and sends Chicago and other would-be Olympic hosts back to the drawing board to try and woo the X-Games instead. Too bad for those of us that would have made the trek to Illinois to watch all of the events that are worth the four-year wait to see like gymnastics and basketball and the other events. Even worse for the rest of the world that might not ever taste deep-dish pizza like the ones you can find in Chicago.

At 10 am Pacific Standard Time, the International Olympic Committee will be announcing where the 2016 Summer Olympic Games will be hosted. And if President Barack Obama has his way, the games will be held in Chicago, which is one of the finalists for the prestigious games. Other finalists include Madrid, Tokyo and Rio De Janeiro -- but most of us are probab ly hoping that The Windy City will end up getting awarded the Games. And with any luck, we'll hear the great news soon.
And if you'd like to move to Chicago, go ahead and give us a call. We don't regularly service the area, but a long distance move can certainly land you in The Windy City in time for the Summer Olympics.
