Your moving company in Burlingame

Burlingame is niiiiiiiiiiice. Sitting right on the San Francisco Peninsula,Burlingame has a healthy piece of scenic shoreline on San Francisco Bay.The name may remind you of the famous coat factory, but Burlingame is definitely not a factory town. If anything, it is a tree town.

Burlingame is known as the "City of Trees", due in large part to the large number of trees that populate the city. 18,000 public trees plus numerous parks and Eucalyptus groves all benefit from a 1908 ordinance "prohibiting cutting, injuring, or destroying trees. " Coupled with its many fine examples of Victorian architecture, its affluence, and its high quality of residential life, and it's easy to see why people that live here like things just the way they are.

And who can blame them? Certainly not Starving Students Movers. We're the moving company Burlingame residents and others call "quietly efficient" and "smooth as silk". We pride ourselves on showing our respect for the beautiful architecture and landscaping that flows throughout the city, whether we're driving through town or stopped for a move.

Burlingame will surprise you. Sure, part of it looks like the 50s main street in Back to the Future, but this is a jet set. A fast-moving, noise reducing, well-to-do, jet set.

Its proximity to San Francisco International Airport makes Burlingame a prime candidate for airline support staff, airline corporate offices, and other airline travel related industries. So hustle and bustle are the norm here. It's just a more refined hustle and bustle. Burlingame enacted one of the first comprehensive noise elements of the General Plan in the nation. It has sound barriers along much of its residential neighborhoods bordering Highway 101. With more on the way.

Which gives us even more reasons to wrap most items we move in a furniture pad and then wrap that in saran wrap. We're the Burlingame moving company that turns big, loud, hard furniture into quiet, soft, plushy furballs.

Burlingame even has a sense of humor. With all of the beautiful architecture, million dollar homes, lovely shops, galleries, and everything else in this beatific locale, perhaps the thing we like best about Burlingame, is the Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia. That's right. PEZ candy. They've got every PEZ dispenser ever made. Daffy is a hoot, just ask Seinfeld.

Customer Reviews

"Best decision we have ever made in a move. Robert and Alfred were absolutely amazing. They worked quickly and were very careful with our things. When it came time to move our Sub Zero very heavy refrigerator up the stairs and into our condo....they did it!(our sofa was no easy task either) I was so amazed at their determination to complete this difficult task. I would definitely recommend them to anyone...anytime! Thank you Alfred and Robert for a wonderful job!"

"M Kinley Strahan and T were very professional, polite and worked together very well. All of our belongings were handled with the utmost care. These men worked without taking a break. We bought them each a large drink before we left for the destination, 46 miles away, and that was the only time they were not moving furniture. We were very pleased with the move and will not hesitate to recommend your company."

"Daniel and Travis were our movers from Lodi to Reno. They did an excellent job and took great care to ensure what needed wrapping for protection was done. They were courteous and clear about the process and prices. By the way, the cost was at least 1/2 of the other 2 quotes I received from competitors and I do not see how the competitors could have done better. They unloaded our stuff and placed each item in the place in the room that we requested. All in all we couldn\'t have been happier with the entire experience. Obviously I would recommend them highly. Thank you."
